Summer 2026 Policies
What if my student misses a Summer band rehearsal due to travel?
We understand many families travel during the summer months. Students who miss a band rehearsal due to planned travel or scheduling conflicts may be eligible for up to two private lesson make-up credits during the Summer Season, subject to advance notice and instructor availability.
Please contact the front desk before any planned absences so we can review available options and help determine the best solution for your student.
What Summer masterclasses are included?
As a bonus, Summer students have access to optional weekly masterclasses designed to supplement their regular lessons and band rehearsals.
Planned masterclass topics include:
• Songwriting & Production
• Drums
• Guitar & Bass
• Piano
• VocalsMasterclasses are age-appropriate and may be divided by age group, experience level, or topic. Attendance is optional and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Private Lessons are a monthly ongoing commitment. If you'd like to pause private lessons, please reach out to us at least 7 days prior to the first of the month. You can adjust your private lesson schedule on a monthly or ongoing basis. If we need to cancel your lesson on our end, you will receive a make-up lesson credit. We may need to provide a substitute instructor from time-to-time.
You will be charged for your first month’s band lessons upon enrollment. After this first charge, a full month’s billing will occur on the first of each month. By enrolling in a band, you are financially committing to the entire season. Your band depends on you and each season leads up to the big show! Students are presumed to be auto-enrolled for subsequent seasons unless notice is given.
If you need to pause your band enrollment before the season ends due to an emergency or substantial reason, you have the option to either switch to private lessons. You will not be refunded for the current month’s subscription. This affects consistency for fellow students and staffing as well as infrastructure of scheduling and equipment.
Private Lesson Make-Up Policy: Students are eligible for up to two (2) make-up lessons per month for any lessons canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are not eligible for a make-up or credit. For planned absences longer than one week (e.g. vacations, illness, travel), students must notify the front desk (not instructors) at least one week in advance. In such cases, efforts will be made to reschedule lessons or offer make-up credits, subject to availability. All approved make-up lesson credits must be used within 90 days of the original canceled lesson. After 90 days, unused credits will expire and will no longer be redeemable.
Several months have 5 weeks, so you will have 5 lessons/rehearsals and we will not charge more for the extra week. There may be an occasional month due to holiday closures or seasonal schedule that there will be less lessons/rehearsals and we will not charge less during those months.
$25 late fee for subscription not paid by the 7th of the month.
$50 late-enrollment fee, after first class of the season.
Camps
By enrolling in a camp, you are financially committing to that week’s camp and will be charged upon enrollment.
Cancellations made at least 14 days before the start of camp will receive a credit toward a future program.
Camps are subject to minimum enrollment. If a session does not meet the minimum, we will notify you in advance and offer alternative options or a full refund.
Students should bring lunch and snacks each day. Please notify us of any allergies in advance.
We are unable to provide make-up lessons for missed camp days.
